A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL.
The first ATAS reunion and badge presentation was held on Saturday, 9 October 2010 at the Texas World Speedway, south of College Station TX in conjunction with the Sam Houston Area Council 100th anniversary Jamboree (SHACJAM).
Fifty new ATAS members were recruited from the more than 23,000 participants that attended this outstanding event. Although all new members are currently from the USA and earned their highest rank here it was really an international experience. We have folks born in Ecuador, Vietnam, England and Hong Kong represented amongst the new members.
The best part of the international experience was being visited by Gillian Clay, the granddaughter of Lord Baden-Powell.
